Started producing in '97, with FastTracker 1. Got influenced a lot by
artists like Fatboy Slim, Wiseguys, Lionrock, the Prodigy, Chemical
Brothers. As I continued producing, my music style changed very much from
big beat-kind of tracks to house. When Stardust's Music sounds better with
you arrived I started to get interested in the French house scene, and in
no time I was a big fan of Daft Punk, Dimitri from Paris, Cassius, Motorbass,
etc. Disco & house are now the main styles in my music, although I keep
expirimenting with new styles.
Respect to & influenced by: Thomas Bangalter & Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo
(Crydamoure, Roule, Daft Punk, Stardust, Le Knight Club), Cassius,
Motorbass, DJ Sneak, Bob Sinclar, Dimitri from Paris, Alan Braxe, DJ
Falcon, Fafa Monteco, Sebastian Leger, + a whole lot other artists, list
would be unpleasently long if I'd write them all down. |

I grew up in North Carolina and primarily listened to classical
music until the age of 12 or 13 when I was introduced to electronic
music through Orbital. I had never heard such lush and organic music
before, so I delved deeper into the genre until I discovered industrial
music/ebm, which is the genre I supposedly fit into.
Influences and respect: Gridlock, Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, Orbital,
Haujobb, Gary Numan, Snog, Wumpscut, Leather Strip, Aphex Twin, Chemlab,
Coil, The Cure, Einstürzende Neubauten, Frontline Assembly, Future
Sound of London, Psychic TV, and Sister Machine Gun. |

My music is deeply influenced by Detroit techno, even though I've
never traveled east of the Mississippi. I grew up in the Nevada desert,
and the bleak sounds of Michigan and Berlin seem perfectly suited
to such a minimal and expansive place. I'm a visual artist by day,
but I wouldn't last long without regular injections of electronic
soul.
Respect: Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin, Joey Beltram, Basic Channel, Heiko
Laux, Dan Bell, Jeff Mills, UR, Sean Deason, Derrick May, Rob Hood,
Stewart Walker, Ben Long, Savvas Ysatis, Aril Brihka, Robert Armani,
DJ Funk, DJ Skull, K. Alexi Shelby, L.A. Williams, Richie Hawtin. |

João Miguel has been a guitar player since 1986.
He grew up in Rio De Janeiro (Brasil) listening to Beatles tunes and
suddenly Smashing Pumpkins (when he really realize that music was
a big part of his life)
His big influences are the Crystal Method, The Smashing Pumpkins,
The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada and Fatboy Slim... |

This page is meant to promote my voice and ideas. I create vocals
in order to bring additional emotions over IDM tracks mainly. I seek
to work with artists interested in experiencing vocals over their
music.
